This was a new patrol course through previously unplayed areas, It was played through thick bush moving into grasslands, then back into medium density bush with alcoves cut for sniping and open combat…..not for the faint of heart….surprise waited at every turn…..or did it?
Approximately 20 Club members and visitors arrived and played, much planning went into strategies with ambushes being set up in the lesser expected areas. Nerves were on edge for the games with the average 350m patrol lasting about 30 to 45 minutes. Three main patrol games were played, with each person getting a chance to play as part of the ambusher group.
After the main events, a social took place with the range closing at about 22h00.
